Fashion Week in Paris

Chloé Fashion Show at Grand Palais (A/W 2014)

Today the Fashion Week in Paris started. I don't know how it was in the other cities, but here in Paris I didn't remark a lot of it this year. Last year there was at least two weeks before something in the air. Everywhere you could see these super tall and super skinny girls walking around trying to find their way to the next casting. And also in the cafes there were suddenly a lot of bloggers writing in their computers or notebooks, which is not really usual to see in Paris.

But this year? Almost nothing. Even my model colleagues confirmed me that last year it was a lot busier with all the castings. There are voices telling, that probably some designers want to retract , like Vera Wang declared this year. All the Fashion Week hype is just to much for her…From an other side I heard that the budget was almost everywhere radically shortened  because of the economic crisis. I have to admit that you really feel it in Paris, that the economical situation is not very bloomy, but is this the reason…?

I really don't hope, because I'm very into spectacular performances and special locations, like for example Karl Lagerfeld did it last time, when he let built a "Chanel-Artgallery" or Dior who mad this wonderfully blooming spring-garden. Whatever it will be, I'm excited that there will surely be something going on in this city these days.

Todays start was not with one of the big designers, but at the last day, on 05.03.2014 there will be a grande finale with Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu and Hermès. A lot of shows will take place as usual in the Grand Palais or Palais de Tokyo, at the Tuileries and Place de Vendôme. But of course as usual the really big houses write their location only in the invitations.

I'm most exited for the shows of Kenzo, often very cool locations, Vivienne Westwood, always good for a surprise and Stella Mc Cartney because I like her designs and I think it's great how she produces sustainable fashion for the environment and the people!

Heute hat die Fashion Week hier in Paris begonnen. Ich weiss nicht wie es in den anderen Städten war, aber hier habe ich noch nicht sehr viel davon gemerkt. Letztes Jahr war bestimmt schon zwei Wochen vor Beginn zu spüren, dass sich etwas anbahnte. Überall waren plötzlich sehr hochgewachsene junge sehr schlanke, ok sind wir ehrlich leider mehr ZU schlanke, Mädels zu sehen die verwirrt in den Strassen umherirrten auf der Suche nach dem nächsten Casting. Auch in den Cafés sah man plötzlich viele Blogger mit Computer oder Notizblock herumlungern, was man sonst in Paris leider eher selten sieht.

Doch dieses Jahr? Fast nichts. Auch meine Modelkolleginnen haben dies bestätigt, letztes Jahr war einiges mehr los in Sachen Castings. Es munkelt, dass sich einige Modeschöpfer eher wieder zurückziehen wollen, wie dies Vera Wang dieses Jahr angekündigt hat. Es sei ihr alles zu hektisch an der Fashion Week in New York…Von anderen Seiten habe ich gehört, dass praktisch überall das Budget drastisch gekürzt wurde wegen der Krise. Ich muss sagen, man merkt es hier in Paris schon ziemlich, dass die Wirtschaftslage nicht rosig ist, aber ob das der Grund ist…?

Ich hoffe nicht, denn ich liebe pompöse Auftritte an speziellen Orten, wie zum Beispiel Karl Lagerfeld letztes Mal eine "Chanel-Kunstgallerie" aufstellen liess, oder Dior ein wunderbaren Frühlingsgarten inszeniert hat. Wie dem auch sein wird, ich freue mich dass diese Woche bestimmt trotzdem einiges los sein wird. 

Die heutigen Shows waren nicht wirklich von den grosse Designern, doch wird es am letzten Tag, am 05.03.2014 gleich mit Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu und Hermès ein grande Finale geben. Viele Shows werden wieder im Grand Palais oder Palais de Tokyo sein, bei den Tuilerien und beim Place de Vendôme stattfinden. Doch natürlich geben die ganz grossen Häuser wie immer ihren Ort für die Show nur auf den Einladungen preis.

Am Meisten bin ich gespannt auf die Shows von Kenzo, oft sehr coole Locations, Vivienne Westwood, immer für eine Überraschung gut und Stella Mc Cartney, weil ich ihre Kollektionen liebe und es einfach toll finde, wie sie nachhaltige Mode produziert für Umwelt und Menschen!

Aujourd'hui la Fashion Week à Paris a commencé. Je ne sais pas comment c'était dans les autres villes, mais ici à Paris je n'ai pas encore beaucoup remarquée. L'année passée on sentait au mois deux semaines avant qu'il y a cheque chose dans l'air. Il y avait partout des très filles en taille très hautes et très, même trop, maigres qui cherchaient leur prochain casting. Aussi dans les cafés on voyait des bloggeurs partout avec leur ordinateurs ou cahier de notes, qui n'est pas très usuel à Paris.

Mais cette année là? Presque rien. Même mes collègues qui sont modèles me confirment qu'il y beaucoup moins de castings que l'année passée. Il y a un rumeur que quelques créateurs veulent se replier, comme Vera Wang a déclaré cette année. Elle dit, que la Fashion Week lui est un trop grand hype, c'est trop fatiguant pour elle. Des autres m'ont dit que à cause de la crise ils ont réduit le budget radicalement presque partout. Je dois dire, c'est vrai qu'on sent vraiment que la situation économique n'est pas la meilleure ici à Paris, mais c'est ça la raison…?

Je n'espère pas car j'aime beaucoup les défilés pompeux et des endroits spéciaux comme Karl Lagerfeld l'avait fait la dernière fois quand il a carrément laissé construire une "gallérie d'art Chanel" ou Dior qui a   mis en scène un jardin de printemps merveilleux. N'importe comment ça va être, je suis excité parce que  je suis sûre que quand même la ville va bouger un peu.

Les shows de aujourd'hui n'étaient pas vraiment des très grands créateurs, mais le dernier jour, le 05.03.2014 nous aurons un grande finale avec Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu et Hermès. Beaucoup de défilés auront lieux comme chaque année au Grand Palais ou Palais de Tokyo, autour des Tuileries et aussi au Place de Vendôme. Bien sûr les grandes maisons n'écrivent leur lieu que sur l'invitation, comme d'habitude.

Les shows pour lesquels je suis très curieuse sont celle de Kenzo, souvent des lieux très original, Vivienne Westwood, toujours bien pour une surprise et Stella Mc Cartney car j'aime ses créations et je trouve super bien comme elle produit de la mode équitable pour l'environnement et pour les hommes!

Shooting In the Streets of Paris...

Yesterday I had a wonderful shooting! We took pictures of different outfits in the charming little streets of Paris. I did the make-up & hair in a parisian bistro so we were already near by the shooting place. It was a lot of fun and we got very positive feedback from lots of the people around. But take a look at it yourself…:)

Gestern hatte ich ein wunderbares Shooting! Wir haben verschiedene Looks in kleinen charmanten Strassen von Paris geshootet. Make-up & Hair habe ich in einem Pariser Bistro gemacht, damit wir gleich vor Ort waren. Es hat wirklich sehr viel Spass gemacht und auch viele Leute haben sehr positiv reagiert. Aber schaut doch am besten selbst, was dabei herauskam…:)

J'avais un merveilleux shooting hier. Dans des petits rues charmantes de Paris nous avons shooté des différents looks. J'ai fait le maquillage et les cheveux dans un bistrot comme ça on était déjà sur place. C'était vraiment très amusant et beaucoup de gens ont réagit très positivement. Mais regardez vous-mêmes qu'est-ce que ça a donné…:)

Love Lime Crime ❤

My new darling in the section of lipsticks is called Lime Crime! The brand was established in 2008 by Doe Deere and is already a must-have of lots of beauty-queens. I love this products not only because they are produced without any animal-tests and even vegan, they are also super covering and long-lasting! All of them are attributes which are very important to me. And one more thing I'm totally crazy about are the various and not at all common colors they have! For me who is totally in to make-up experiments it's a bit like haven ;-) The green lipstick I used for my green-make-up-post was as well one of the lime crimes (http://pariszurich.blogspot.fr/2014/02/green-green-green.html).

Besides the lovely lipsticks there are as well the Velvetines which are amazing. You put it on like a lipgloss and you'll get a wonderful matt and covering result. I really like everything about this products. Starting with the packaging (cute little unicorn:)) through to the lipstick with great texture up to the result! Try it out, you won't regret it!

Meine neuen Lieblinge bezüglich Lippenstifte sind von Lime Crime! Die Marke wurde 2008 von Doe Deere gegründet und ist schon Liebling von vielen Beauty-Queens. Ich liebe die Produkte nicht nur, da sie absolut ohne Tierversuche und zudem auch noch vegan produziert werden, sie halten auch super gut und sind wirklich deckend. Alles Eigenschaften welche ich sehr wichtig finde. Dazu kommt noch, dass die Lippenstifte in den schrägsten Farben bekommen kann, was ich mit meiner Schwäche zu ungewöhnlichen Make-up-Experimenten toll finde! Neben den umwerfenden Lippenstiften gibt es auch noch die Velvetines die mich total überzeugt haben.  Aufgetragen wie ein Lipgloss, geben sie einen wunderbar matten und absolut denkenden Effekt. Bei diesen Produkten stimmt einfach alles. Von der Verpackung (süsses kleines Einhorn:)), über den Lippenstift mit toller Textur, bis hin zum Resultat! Ausprobieren, ihr werdet es nicht bereuen!

Best skin-repairing mask!

Hello my dears! Like I already wrote yesterday I was ill last week. At the moment everybody catches a cold in Paris…
I don't know how it is with you guys, but my skin is always horrible after I a sickness. It's rough and red around the nose and full of blemishes and little pimples.
The best thing to do against all that is the mask I already described in my post about how to care your skin in winter (http://pariszurich.blogspot.fr/2013/12/winter-is-here-dont-let-your-skin.html). But because the mask treats really splashy I dedicate a own post to it :)
All you need for it is the "Cicalfate creme" from Avène, compresses and a thermal water-spray.
And that's how it works: put a thick layer of "Cicalfate" on your deeply cleaned skin. If you have time it's good to do a gentle peeling before so all the dead skin danders are eliminated. Next you put on the compresses on your face. I always prepare them by cutting them in shape. Then you moisturize your face with the thermal water-spray and again you put on a layer of "Cicalfate". Leave the mask on for about 20 minutes and whipe the rest carefully away with a face tissue or mass the rest of the cream gentle into your skin. Best thing you can do is to do the mask before going to bed, so you can leave the rest of the cream work during the night. Your skin will be instantly calmed, harmonious and balanced. Enjoy trying it ☺


 Hallo meine Lieben! Wie ich schon Gestern geschrieben habe, war ich letzte Woche krank. In Paris ist im Moment so ziemlich jeder vergrippt oder mit Schnupfen unterwegs…
Ich weiss nicht wie es bei euch ist, aber meine Haut ist immer schrecklich nachdem ich krank war. Rau und rot um die Nase, fleckig und voller kleiner Pickelchen.
Das beste Mittel dagegen ist die Maske welche ich schon bei meinem Post über Anti-Wintermassnahmen beschrieben habe (http://pariszurich.blogspot.fr/2013/12/winter-is-here-dont-let-your-skin.html). Doch weil sie wirklich sensationell wirkt und man sofort eine Verbesserung sieht, widme ich ihr einen eigenen Post :)
Was ihr dazu braucht ist die "Cicalfate-Creme" von Avène, Kompressen und einen Thermalwasser-Spray.
Und so geht's: eine dicke Schicht "Cicalfate" auf die gründlich gereinigte Haut auftragen. Wer Zeit und Lust hat, kann vorher auch ein sanftes Peeling machen, damit überflüssige Hautschüppchen bereits entfernt sind. Dann eine Schicht der Gaze oder Kompressen übers Gesicht legen. Ich schneide mir immer bereits passende Streifen vor. Danach das gesamte Gesicht mit dem Thermalswasser-Spray befeuchten und nochmals eine Schicht "Cicalfate" über die Kompressen auftragen. Das gesamte ca.20 Minuten wirken lassen.
Nach dem Einwirken die Gazen entfernen und sanft mit einem Kosmetiktuch die Überreste entfernen. Am besten ist es, wenn man die Maske vor dem zu Bett gehen macht und die restliche Creme dann einfach einmassiert und schlafen geht. Die Haut ist sofort beruhigter, ebenmässiger und im Gleichgewicht. Viel Spass beim ausprobieren ☺



Salut mes chers! Comme je l'avais écrit hier j'étais malade la semaine passé. Au moment il me semble que tout le monde attrape froid à Paris…
Je ne sais pas comment c'est avec vous, mais ma peau est toujours horrible après j'étais malade! Rêche et rouge autour du nez, plein de taches et de petits boutons.
La meilleure chose de faire contre ça c'est la masque que je vous ai déjà expliqué dans mon post comment traiter la peau en hiver (http://pariszurich.blogspot.fr/2013/12/winter-is-here-dont-let-your-skin.html). Mais cette masque est tellement géniale, qu'elle mérite un post pour soi même :)
Tous ce-que vous avez besoin c'est la crème "Cicalfate" d'Avène, des compresses et un brumisateur d'eau-thermale.
Et c'est comment ça marche: appliquez une couche épaisse de "Cicalfate" sur votre visage bien nettoyé. Si vous avez le temps, c'est encore mieux de faire un petit gommage doux avant, ça élimine les petit pièces de peau sèche. Après vous mettez les compresses sur le visage. Moi je les prépare toujours avant en les coupant dans la forme. Une fois c'est fait vous humidifiez tout le visage avec le brumisateur et vous remettez une couche de "Cicalfate" sur les compresses. Laissez agir pendant 20 minutes et enlevez le reste avec un Kleenex ou massez le bien dans la peau. Encore mieux si vous faites la masque jusqu'avant aller au lit comme ça vous pouvez laisser le reste de la crème travailler toute la nuit. La peau va être toute de suite calmée, unifiée et en balance. Amusez-vous bien en essayant cette masque ☺

Hello everybody, I'm sorry for my leak of posts, I caught a cold and I couldn't even prepare a Valentine's Day-Make-up :-(  next time for sure!

But I wanted to wish you all a very nice Valentine's Day, especially as well if you are single. Do not depress, do something nice for you this evening! And think positive: better being single than in a relationship with an idiot, isn't it ;-) ?!

Me for my part I will spend the evening with my mom who came to visit me in Paris :) We cook something nice, have some wine and afterwards we will relax with a nice movie and some beauty-masks, magnificent ☺

So, have a lovely evening and enjoy whatever you do!

2 Shootings - 1 Day

Somehow the photographers, stylists & co. manage it all the time to fix their shootings exactly on the same days. Thats how it came that I had to hurry from one shooting to the other yesterday. It was exhausting but I love what I do and both shooting were amazing and lots of fun. That's why I want to show you some pictures:)


Irgendwie schaffen es die Fotografen, Stilisten & Co. immer, all ihre Shoppings am selben Tag machen zu wollen. So kam es, dass ich Gestern gleich von dem einen zum nächsten Shooting musste. Es war zwar sehr anstrengend, doch ich liebe was ich tue und wirklich beide haben wahnsinnig viel Spass gemacht. Deshalb möchte ich euch einige Bilder davon zeigen:)


Je ne sais pas comment les photographes, stylistes & co. réussissent tout le temps de fixer leurs shootings exactement les mêmes jours. C'est pour ça que hier je suis allée d'un shooting directement à l'autre. J'étais morte après, mais j'adore ce que je fais et tous les deux étaient vraiment très bien. C'est pour ça que je veux vous montrer quelques images:)

Shooting No.1

The first shooting was with my favorite photographer Pierre Tostain. I could change the model completely and ran free in the make-up. That's exactly what I love! And the pictures are amazing, take a look:


Das erste Shooting war mit meinem Lieblingsfotograf Pierre Tostain. Ich habe das Model komplett umgestylt und konnte mich so richtig ausleben. Genau das was ich liebe! Und die Fotos sind umwerfend geworden, schaut selber:


Le premier shooting était avec mon photographe préféré Pierre Tostain. J'ai complètement changé la modèle et je pouvais me défouler sur le maquillage. C'est exactement ce que j'aime! Est les photos sont magnifiques, regardez:

The second shooting was with a designer which I like a lot, Mark from "Become Bobo". This shooting was great because I really like what he does and also the team was great. But watch it yourself:)


Das zweite Shooting war mit einem Designer, der mir sehr gefällt Mark von "Become Bobo". Auch dieses Shooting war super, da ich seine Entwürfe wirklich mag und auch das Team war sehr gut. Aber auch hier, schaut selbst die ersten Bilder :)


Le deuxième shooting était avec un créateur que j'aime beaucoup, Mark de "Become Bobo". Le shoot était super, car j'adore ce qu'il fait et le team aussi était très bien. Mais regardez vous mêmes:)

Green eyes, green lips, green make-up!

When Lola showed me this green lipstick during a shooting, I instantly fell in love with it and I knew it has to be my next post! Luckily she agreed without hesitation to be my model for it :)

At the first look you may think OMG green lips! But the make-up rests very classic and the more I look at it, the more I like it!

Of course I could have done a much more crazy make-up with this green lipstick, but I wanted to show that it is all about interpretation and realization how you handle a make-up product! Hope you like tha make-up as much as I do☺

Als mir Lola während eines Shootings diesen grünen Lippenstift gezeigt hat, habe ich mich sofort in ihn verliebt und wusste dass dieser mein nächster Post werden muss! Zum Glück war sie auch gleich einverstanden mein Model dafür zu sein :) 

Vielleicht denkt ihr auf den ersten Blick, OMG grüne Lippen! Aber ich finde das Make-up bleibt trotz allem sehr klassisch und je länger ich es anschaue, desto besser gefällt es mir!

Natürlich hätte ich auch ein auffallenderes und schräges Make-up mit dem grünen Lippenstift machen können, doch ich wollte zeigen, dass alles eine Frage der Interpretation und Umsetzung ist, wie man ein Make-up-Produkt handhabt! Hoffentlich euch gefällt das Make-up genauso gut wie mir ☺

Quand Lola m'a montré ce rouge à lèvres vert, je suis tombée amoureuse de lui et je savais que ça va être mon prochain post! Heureusement elle était tout de suite prête d'être mon modèle pour ça :)

Peut-être vous pensez au premier moment OMG lèvres vertes! Mais je trouve le maquillage reste quand même très classique et le plus que je le regarde, le plus il me plaît!

Bien sure j'aurais pu faire un maquillage beaucoup plus crazy avec ce rouge à lèvres, mais je voulais montrer que c'est tous une question de l'interprétation et de l'application comme on traite un produit de maquillage! J'espère que le maquillage vous plaît autant qu'il plaît à moi☺
