My favorite autumn lipcolours

In the middle of my preparations to leave for Paris it became autumn. And because we should do the best of every season I present you my favorite lipcolours for autumn:

- orange shades
- brown shades
- dark red
- dark violet

It takes a bit of courage to wear them, but they look fantastic. The best way is to combine them with the make-up I made for the post "All about eyebrows".
You can also mix these colours and you'll get wonderful varied new colours.



Mitten in meinen Vorbereitung zur Abreise zurück nach Paris, ist es leider Herbst geworden. Doch aus allen Jahreszeiten sollte man das beste daraus machen. Deshalb stelle ich euch nun meine Lieblingslippenfarben für diesen Herbst vor:

- Orangetöne
- Brauntöne
- Dunkelrot
- Dunkelviolett

Die Farben brauchen etwas Mut, sehen aber fantastisch aus. Am besten gefallen sie mir kombiniert mit dem Make-Up welches ich für den Post "All about eyebrows" gemacht habe.
Die Farben kann man auch gut miteinander mischen, so entstehen wunderbare vielfältige neue Farben.



En pleine préparation pour mon retour à Paris il est devenue automne. Et par ce que on doit faire le meilleur de chaque saison, je vous présente mes couleurs préférées des lèvres pour cet automne:

- orange
- brun
- rouge foncé
- violet foncé

Il faut un peut de courage pour les porter mais ça donne un look fantastique. Je le préfère combiné avec le maquillage de mon post "All about eyebrows".
On peut mélanger les couleurs ensemble, comme ça on aura des merveilleuses nouvelles couleurs.

How to cover pimples

Unfortunately I hear repeatedly that the best way to cover pimples is to put on a concealer that is one or two skin-tones lighter than the make-up. This is absolutely wrong. The brighter parts of the face stand optically out and make pimples which are covered with a lighter concealer even more visible. Unluckily you can not charm away the things you really don't want like dark circles or pimples, because they built reliefs on the skin and you can not just "paint" this away. But you can hide them as well as in any way possible.
My tip: if the pimple is red you can neutralize it with a green cream or stick (for example from Avène). Afterwards you can normally apply your make-up, not too much. Now take a bit of the make-up on your finger and tap it on the pimple. Repeat this until the pimple disappears. If the pimple doesn't want to go away you can use a better pigmented concealer. But take care that it is  exactly the same colour like your make-up.
That's how you can cover pimples in the most natural way without looking as if you have tons of make-up on or even give attention to them with light concealer spots.

Leider lese und höre ich immer wieder, dass man Pickel am besten mit einem Concealer welcher ein bis zwei Tönte heller als die Haut ist abdeckt. Das stimmt hinten und vorne nicht. Hellere Stellen im Gesicht treten optisch hervor und somit macht man eher auf Pickel aufmerksam als sie zu verstecken.
Dummerweise kann man die Dinge, welche man wirklich nicht haben möchte nie ganz wegzaubern. Wie z.B. Augenringe und leider auch Pickel, da sie wie Reliefe auf der Haut sind und man sie nicht einfach weg schminken kann. Aber man kann sie so gut wie möglich kaschieren.
Mein Tipp: falls der Pickel rot ist, kann man mit einer grünen Creme oder Stick (z.B. von Avène) das Rot neutralisieren. Danach normal das Make-Up auftragen, auf keinen Fall eine zu dicke Schicht. Nun etwas Make-Up auf den Finger nehmen und mit klopfenden Bewegungen auf den Pickel einarbeiten. Schön mit dem restlichen Make-Up verwischen. Diesen Vorgang wiederholen, bis der Pickel nicht mehr zu sehen ist. Sollte der Pickel zu hartnäckig sein, kann man auch zu einem stärker pigmentierten Concealer greifen, doch es ist unbedingt darauf zu achten, dass er genau dieselbe Farbe wie das Make-Up hat.
So kann man Pickel am natürlichsten kaschieren, ohne zugekleistert auszusehen oder durch helle Flecken noch darauf aufmerksam zu machen.

All about eyebrows

 This autumn/winter marked eyebrows are a big trend. Thanks to Cara Delevingne we can see it everywhere now and I love it!
The look is very easy to do: brush your eyebrows upwards and fill in the holes with a eyebrow pencil or a brown eyeshadow. You can choose the intensity of the colour just like you want to. Mascara, a fresh blush and a gentle lipstick and you got the quick but very expressional look!

Diesen Herbst/Winter dreht sich alles um stark betonte Augenbrauen. Dank Cara Delevingne sehen wir sie nun überall und ich liebe es!
Der Look ist sehr einfach zum selber machen: Augenbrauen nach oben bürsten und mit einem Augenbrauenstift oder braunem Lidschatten die entstandenen Lücken auffüllen. Die Intensität der Farbe kann man je nach Lust und Laune wählen. Mascara, ein frisches Rouge und einen dezenten Lippenstift, fertig ist der schnelle aber wirkungsvolle Look!

Cet automne/hiver les sourcils accentués sont très à la mode. Grâce à Cara Delevingne on le voit maintenant par tout et je l'adore!
Le look est vraiment simple à faire: brossez les sourcils vers le haut et remplissez avec un crayon de sourcil ou fard à paupillère brun les petits trous. Vous pouvez choisir l'intensité de la couleur comme vous voulez. Un peut de mascara, un blush frais et un rouge à lèvres discret, voilà le look est très vite fait et en plus très efféctif.

I know it's not really the subject of my blog, but I just went by this absolutely cute cupcake store named "Michelle's Cupcakes" (the name has nothing to do with my enthousiasm  ) and I wanted to share this with you guys. The store is in my neighborhood but I've never seen it before, because I was in Paris when it opened. I knew Michelle's delicious Cupcakes from the "Rimini monday-night-markets" in Zurich, but her store is really a must see with a lot of wonderful decoration-stuff like paper straws and cute glasses. Soon Michelle is going to open a new store just next to the Kaufleuten.So whenever you're in Zurich and don't know what to do, stop by and let you enchant from Michelle's Cupkakes.

Ich weiss, es ist nicht wirklich das Thema meines Blogs, aber vorhin bin ich am hinreissenden Cupcake-Laden "Michelle's Cupcakes" (der Name hat nichts mit meinem Enthusiasmus zu tun  ) vorbeigelaufen und dachte dies ist unbedingt ein Post wert. Der Laden ist in meiner Nachbarschaft, doch ich habe ihn noch nie gesehen, da ich in Paris war, als er eröffnet wurde. Ich kannte Michelle's köstliche Cupcakes bereits vom "Rimini Montagsmarkt" aber ihr Laden ist wirklich einen Besuch wert mit viel Dekorationssachen wie Paperstraws oder hübschen Gläsern.
Bald wird Michelle einen weiteren kleinen Laden eröffnen, direkt beim Kaufleuten.
Also, wann immer ihr in Zürich seid und nicht wisst was ihr tun sollt, geht doch bei Michelle's Cupcakes vorbei und lasst euch von der hinreissenden Einrichtung verzaubern.

Je sais, ce n'est pas vraiment le thème de mon blog, mais toute à l'heure j'ai croisé le petit magasin "Michelle's Cupcakes" (le nom n'a rien a faire avec mon enthousiasme ) et il est tellement mignon que j'ai pensé il mérite un post. Le magasin n'est pas loin de mon appartement, mais je ne l'avais pas encore vu, car j'étais à Paris quand il a ouvert. Je conaissais Michelle's délicieux Cupcakes déjà du "lundi-soir-marché" chez Rimini, un bar à Zurich. Mais le magasin est vraiment charmant avec beaucoup de trucs de décoration comme paperstraws et très jolis verres.
Bientôt Michelle ouvrira encore un petit magasin, à côté du Kaufleuten.
Alors, si jamais vous êtes à Zurich et vous ne savez pas quoi faire, allez visiter Michelle's Cupcakes et laissez vous enchanter de son intérieur.

Tested: CC cream

L'ORÉAL  Nude Magique CC Cream anti-redness/anti-rougeurs

BB creams were yesterday, now everybody is talking about the new and better CC creams. Even if I'm not a big fan of the BB creams (most of them are to visible for my taste and often with a wrong colour) I wanted to test a CC cream. Because I tend to red cheeks and spots I tested the anti-redness CC cream from L'Oréal Paris. The cream is green when it comes out of the tube, which makes sense because green is the complementary colour of red and helps to equalize the red zones. Once applied on the face the cream changes into a skincolour.
I really liked the result, if you don't put on too much cream, otherwise you will see the border on your skin. I really can consider the CC cream to give your face a nice and smooth look, but if you have lots of imperfections I would take a make-up because it covers better.

My conclusion: I really liked this cream but it's not at all as "revolutionary" as they always say in magazines and tv-spots. I'm already wondering when the DD cream will be launched... 


BB Cremes waren Gestern, jetzt wird überall nur noch von den neuen, viel besseren CC Cremes gesprochen. Auch wenn ich kein sehr grosser Fan von BB Crèmes bin (ich finde die meisten geben eine völlig falsche Hautfarbe und sind viel zu sichtbar), wollte ich eine CC Crème testen. Da meine Haut zu Rötungen neigt, habe ich mich für die "Anti-Rötungen" CC Creme von L'Oréal Paris entschieden. Frisch aus der Tube ist die Creme grün, was auch Sinn macht, da Grün die Komplementärfarbe von Rot ist und somit hilft die Rötungen auszugleichen. Sobald man die Creme auf das Gesicht aufträgt, nimmt sie eine hautfarbene Tönung an.
Vom Resultat war ich angenehm überrascht, es wirkt sehr natürlich wenn man nicht zu viel Creme aufträgt, ansonsten sieht man die Ränder zur Haut. Um einen schönen ebenmässigen Teint zu bekommen kann ich die CC Creme wirklich empfehlen, doch für unreine Haut ist sie eher nicht geeignet. Da würde ich ein Make-up empfehlen, wegen der höheren Deckkraft.

Mein Fazit: Ich mochte diese Creme wirklich, aber sie ist bei weitem nicht so "revolutionär" wie sie in den Magazinen und Werbespots angepriesen wird. Ich frage mich schon, wann wohl die die DD Creme auf den Markt kommen wird... 


BB crèmes étaient hier, aujourd'hui tout le monde parle des nouvelles, encore meilleures, CC crèmes. Même si je n'étais pas un grand fan des BB crèmes (je trouve elles donnent presque jamais la vrai couleur de la peaux et on les voit), je voulais tester une CC crème. Puisque ma peaux a des rougeurs j'ai choisit la CC crème de L'Oréal Paris "anti-rougeurs". D'abord la crème est verte, c'est logique par ce que le vert est la couleur complémentaire du rouge et aide à neutraliser les rougeurs. Quand on applique la crème sur le visage, elle prend la couleur de la  peaux.
J'étais contente avec le résultat, c'était très naturel. Mais attention de ne pas mettre trop de crème, par ce que ça donne des bordures moches. Je peux vraiment conseiller la crème pour donner un beau teint unifié, mais pour une peaux avec des imperfections je prendrais un fond de teint car ça couvre beaucoup mieux.

Mon bilan: j'ai bien aimé la crème, mais elle n'est pas du tout tellement "révolutionnaire" comme on a lu dans les magazines et vu dans les pubes. Je me demande déjà quand on aura la DD crème... 

Shooting for "The Vogue Word"

For her post "Red pants meet bikerjacket" I created Vanessas make-up. Vanessa is bloger from The Vogue Word, a very popular fashionblog. For this outfit we've chosen a pretty strong make-up. I've made the eyes darker at the outer corner in a almond-shape to give them the cat-eyes-look. The lips are like the pants in a flashy red.
The shooting with Vanessa was really fun and for sure not the last one!

Für ihren Post "Red pants meet bikerjacket" habe ich Vanessas Make-Up gemacht. Vanessa ist Bloggerin von The Vogue Word, einem sehr beliebten Fashionblog. Für dieses Outfit haben wir ein etwas stärkeres Make-Up gewählt. Die Augen habe ich nach Aussen mandelförmig abgedunkelt um eine Cateyes-Optik zu bekommen. Die Lippen passend zu den Hosen knallrot.
Das Shooting mit Vanessa hat sehr viel Spass gemacht und war bestimmt nicht das letzte!

Pour son post "Red pants meet bikerjacket" j'ai fait le maquillage de Vanessa. Le blog de Vanessa s'appelle The Vogue Word et est un très populaire blog de mode. Pour cet habilement nous avons choisit un maquillage assez fort. J'ai foncé les yeux vers l'extérieur en forme d'une amande pour donner un look "cat-eyes". Les lèvres sont comme les pantalons dans un rouge fort.
Le shooting avec Vanessa était un grand plaisir et c'était certainement pas notre dernier shooting!

50ies Shooting with the "Lipstick Ladies"

To shoot a look from an other decade is always something special for me. Especially if I have to do hair as well. This shooting for the Lipstick Ladies was done in the 50ies style. The day was very hot and I didn't know what ran faster: the sweat or the make-up of the girls. But thanks to the highley motivated girls it was a great experiance!


Einen Look aus einer anderen Zeit zu shooten ist für mich immer wieder etwas besonderes. Vor allem wenn ich auch noch die Haare mache. So auch dieses Shooting mit den Lipstick Ladies, welches im 50er Jahre Stil gemacht wurde. Der Tag war zwar sehr heiss und das Make-Up der Mädels lief mit dem Schweiss um die Wette, doch dank den hochmotivierten Ladies war es eine tolle Erfahrung!

Faire un shooting qui joue dans un autre temps est toujours quelque chose de spécial pour moi. Surtout si je fais aussi les cheveux. On a fait ce shooting avec les Lipstick Ladies dans le look des années 50. Il faisait très chaud et je ne sais pas qu'est-ce que roulait plus vite: la sueur ou le maquillage des filles. Mais grâce aux filles qui étaient très motivées, c'était une très bonne expérience!

Guerlain Terracotta 4 Seasons

One of my absoloutley favorite products is the Terracotta powder from Guerlain. It makes a suntanned face even more glowy and gives a fresh summer-look. To a pale type it gives immediately a sun kissed tan. With the Terracotta powder you have always a little bit of sun with you, even when the weather strikes.
Guerlain was a pioneer when he launched the Terracotta powder in 1984. My two favourite powders are: the "Terracotta Poudre Bronzante Hydratante Haute Tenue" no 02, which fits to nearly every skin type and has a hydrating effect. My second favourite is the "Terracotta 4 Seasons". You can use the four colours separately or all together; the Variability is big.


Eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsprodukte ist das Terracottapuder von Guerlain. Bei einem bereits sonnengebräunten Gesicht verleiht es einen noch strahlenderen und frischen Sommerlook und bei einem eher bleichen Typ zaubert es im Nu einen von der Sonne geküssten Teint. So hat man mit dem Terracottapuder auch in den düsteren Tagen immer etwas Sonne dabei.
Guerlain war mit der Lancierung des Terracottapuders 1984 ein Pionier. Meine beiden Liebingspuder sind: das  "Terracotta Poudre Bronzante Hydratante Haute Tenue" Nummer 02, welches praktisch zu jedem Hautton passt und auch noch Feuchtigkeit spendet. Somit bleibt der Teint immer schön geschmeidig und frisch. Mein zweiter Favorit ist das "Terracotta 4 Seasons", welches man je einzeln oder alle vier Farben gemischt auftragen kann. Somit hat man viele Variationsmöglichkeiten.


Un de mes produits préférés est la poudre Terracotta de Guerlain. Pour un visage déjà bronzé la poudre donne un look encore plus lumineux et plus frais, pour une peau plutôt pâle elle donne tout de suite un teint rayonnant comme si on était de retour des vacances. Avec la poudre Terracotta on a toujours, même quand il fait mauvais temps un peu de soleil dans la poche.
Guerlain a été un pionnier quand il a lancé la poudre en 1984. Mes poudres préférées sont: "Terracotta Poudre Bronzante Hydratante Haute Tenue" numéro 02, elle va avec presque tout les teints et en même temps elle est hydratante. Mon deuxième favori est la "Terracotta 4 Seasons". On peut utiliser tous les couleurs seuls ou mélangées ensembles. Comme ça on a beaucoup de possibilités pour varier.
